WEEVIL FOOTBALL ON TV TWICE IN 2008

 MONTICELLO,
Ark. — The Gulf South Conference has finalized the
GSC-TV Game of the Week schedule for the upcoming 2008 season,
which includes University of Arkansas at Monticello football two
times within one week.
The first GSC-TV game for the
Weevils comes on Saturday, Oct. 4 at Ouachita Baptist University
for a 7 p.m. contest.
The following
Thursday, the TV crew will make the trip to Monticello to
broadcast the Weevils and West Georgia starting at 7 p.m.
Comcast/Charter
Sports Southeast continues as the primary carrier, bringing more
that 5,000,000 potential households while Cox Sports ads its
1,700,000 to the mix for the third consecutive season. The
league will also make the broadcasts available to other cable
systems led by the return of MediaComm in South Georgia. As
usual, the league will also involve other open-air channels in
non-conflicting areas. GSC-TV games will not be available on
Dish Network or Direct TV.
