AIC

For much of its history, UAM was a member of the now-defunct Arkansas Intercollegiate Conference and NAIA Division I. UAM won or shared 10 AIC football championships, winning titles in 1953, ’55, ’56, ’57, ’58, ’63, ’65, ’66, ’67, ’79, and ’93. UAM joined the Gulf South Conference and switched from the NAIA to NCAA Division II following the 1994 season.
