Josh Eargle has been
hired as the team’s
offensive
coordinator and
offensive line
coach. Eargle comes
to UAM after
spending the 2009
season as the
offensive quality
control coordinator
and offensive line
coach for Louisiana
State University.
Prior to LSU, Earle
spent two seasons
(2007-08) as the
recruiting
coordinator,
offensive line coach
and tight ends coach
at Nicholls State
University. The
Brownwood, Texas
native has also
served as an
assistant coach at
Southern Mississippi
(2003-05, 2006) and
at Gulf South
Conference in-state
rival, Ouachita
Baptist (2005).
Eargle is a 2001
graduate of the
University of
Memphis with a
bachelor’s degree in
exercise and sport
science. He earned a
master’s degree in
2004 from Southern
Mississippi in
sports
administration.

coaching experience
in big-time Division
I football at LSU,
as well as
experience at the
D1-FCS level and in
D2 at Ouachita
Baptist… He has
really hit the
ground running and
the players have
accepted him with
open arms.”
