MONTICELLO – The University of Arkansas at Monticello football coaching staff is now registering teams for its annual four-man golf scramble to be held Saturday, May 9 at the Monticello Country Club.
 
The tournament will begin at 9 a.m. Saturday and will feature closest to the pin, chip off, and betting hole competitions.
 
Prizes will be awarded to the top three teams, including a Samsung touch screen cell phone and a blue ray disc player. Also, at the conclusion of the event, there will be a raffle for door prizes.
 
The cost for the event is $75 per player or $300 per team. Lunch and drinks will be provided for participants.
 
“This is a great opportunity to support UAM football and enjoy a great day of golf,” said UAM assistant coach Troy Stubbs.
