MEMPHIS, TN --- Despite a 15-kill performance by Kameshia Melton (Sr., Grapevine, Texas) and a 13-kill effort by Taura Rush (Jr., Joseph City, Ariz.), the University of Arkansas at Monticello Cotton Blossoms were unable to overcome a hard-hitting Christian Brothers offense as the Lady Bucs swept to a 3-0 victory over UAM on Saturday at Canale Arena.

The Bucs opened with a 30-23 win in game one before taking 30-28 victories in games two and three.

Melton’s 15 kills led all players. Maegan Martin (Jr., Burnet, Texas) dished out 44 assists while Stephanie Hatten (Fr., Baytown, Texas) added 26 digs and MacKenzie Willis (Jr., Andrews, Texas) added 14 digs.
