--- University of Arkansas at Monticello head volleyball
coach Nicole Smith announced the signing of five players
national letters of intent on Thursday.
Joining the UAM program this fall will be outside hitter
Nicole Ferguson (5-11, Brentwood, Tenn.);
defensive specialist/setter Courtney Fletcher
(5-5, Eddy, Texas); middle blocker Sara Kindred
(5-10, Frisco, Texas); outside hitter Olivia Petyniak
(5-11, Lake in the Hills, Ill.); and outside
hitter/defensive specialist Kara Simnacher (5-9,
Victoria, Texas).
“I’m very excited about adding these fine players,”
said Blossoms head coach Nicole Smith. “They all come
from winning high school programs and competitive club
programs, and that winning experience will help us as a
young program as we try to contend in the Gulf South
Conference.” |
