MONTICELLO – The University of Arkansas at Monticello football team is looking to remain unbeaten at home this season this Saturday, October 26 when Southern Nazarene comes to town for UAM's 81st annual Homecoming.

Kickoff is set for 3 p.m. at Willis "Convoy" Leslie Cotton Boll Stadium. The game will be covered on the UAM Sports Network at KHBM-FM 93.7 in Monticello with live video and audio streaming at uamsports.com. Live stats of Saturday's game can also be found online at uamsports.com.

The Weevils enter Saturday's game with a 4-3 overall record with a 3-3 record in Great American Conference games following a 41-27 win over Lindenwood-Belleville last Saturday at home in the only non-conference game of the 2013 season. Southern Nazarene comes to Monticello with an 0-7 overall record with the same mark in the GAC following a 66-17 loss to Southern Arkansas last Saturday at home in Bethany, Okla.

WEEK 8 STORYLINES

HOMECOMING
The Boll Weevils host the Southern Nazarene University Crimson Storm for UAM's 81st annual Homecoming. The Weevils have won four of the last five Homecoming battles. All-time, UAM is 40-39-1 in Homecoming games.

HOME FIELD ADVANTAGE
The Weevils are looking to remain unbeaten at home on Saturday against Southern Nazarene. UAM has won all four games this season at the friendly confines of Willis "Convoy" Leslie Cotton Boll Stadium.

BACK TO GAC SLATE
Following a 41-27 non-conference victory over Lindenwood-Belleville last Saturday at home, the Weevils return to Great American Conference play on Saturday and for the rest of the season. UAM is 3-3 in Great American Conference games this season.

THE BOLL WEEVILS
The Weevils rank seventh in the GAC in scoring at an average of 29.7 points per game, eighth in total offense at 371.1 yards per game and seventh in total defense at 410.3 yards allowed per game... UAM used all three of its quarterbacks for the fifth time this season in last week's win over LU-Belleville. Sophomore Colton Morrison got the start, but sophomore Cody Trimble turned in a career-day, going 26-of-39 through the air for 290 yards and four touchdowns, three going to senior Jamal Nixon, who finished the game with nine receptions for 120 yards. Junior Rod Smith leads the UAM rushing with a total of 130 carries for 419 yards and six touchdown rushes this season... Defensively, junior Keith Reynolds returned to form in the win over LU-Belleville with eight tackles and now has 51 tackles this season, including 4.5 tackles for a loss... Freshman kicker Jamie McGee nailed his nation-leading average of two made field goals per game in the win over LU-Belleville and currently sits one field goal shy of tying a school record for field goals made in a season. He is 14-of-16 this season on field goals and 20-of-22 on extra points.

SCOUTING THE CRIMSON STORM
The Crimson Storm rank near the bottom of the most GAC statistical categories, including 10th in scoring at 15.3 points per game, 10th in total offense at292.4 yards per game and last in total defense with 539.7 yards allowed pergame. Senior quarterback Dylan Terry leads the Storm with 1,091 passing yards on 120 completions. He has thrown five touchdown passes with 10 interceptions. Chris Hunter is the leading rusher on the team with 90 carries for 339 yards with five touchdowns. However, Hunter has not played in the past three games. Ryan Mischler is Terry's favorite target with 25 receptions for 240 yards and two touchdowns. Linebacker Michael Hicks paces the SNU defense with 56 tackles, including 4.5 tackles for a loss.

THE COACHES
UAM is led by third-year head coach Hud Jackson, who collected his 10th career victory in last Saturday's win over Lindenwood-Belleville. Jackson is now 10-19 since taking over at UAM prior to the 2011 season. SNU is led by Mike Cochran, who is 40-43 in his eighth season as the team's head coach. Cochran led SNU to a 9-3 record in 2011.

RECORD WATCH
Freshman Jamie McGee nailed his average of two made field goals per game in last Saturday's 41-27 win over Lindenwood-Belleville. He is now 14-of-16 on field goals this season, sitting just one field goal shy of tying the school record for field goals made in a single season.

TOP PASS DEFENSE
UAM leads the GAC and ranks 12th in the country in pass defense, allowing just 174 yards through the air per game. The Weevils have held their opponents to less than 200 yards passing in four of the seven games so far this season, including holding Arkansas Tech to just 23 yards passing three weeks ago at home. UAM has nearly a 600-yard advantage in the passing game this season at 1,840-1,218.

BALL CARRIERS BEWARE
UAM gained one turnover in this past Saturday's win over Lindenwood-Belleville to improve its overall turnover margin this year to +9. That margin ranks 12th in the country and leads the GAC. UAM ranks 13th in the country in total turnovers gained (20) and eighth in the nation in fumbles recovered (11).

25TH ANNIVERSARY OF 1988 NAIA PLAYOFF TEAM
Members of the 1988 Weevils Football Team will be recognized on Saturday incelebration of the 25th anniversary of the first NAIA Playoff team in school history. The 1988 squad finished the season with a 10-2 overall record, theonly team to ever win 10 games in program history. The 1988 squad features two members of the UAM Sports Hall of Fame, five All-America honorees, one Academic All-America selection and six All-Arkansas Intercollegiate Conference honorees.

The Boll Weevils have switched out their September blue prostate cancer awareness helmet decals for pink breast cancer awareness decals during the month of October.This is the third straight season the Weevils have participated in NationalBreast Cancer Awareness Month with pink helmet decals. UP NEXT
The Weevils are at home for the final time of the 2013 season next Saturdayagainst nationally fifth-ranked Henderson State for Senior Day. The Reddies are 7-0 overall and 6-0 in the GAC heading into this Saturday's road game against Harding.
