Media Information

CREDENTIALS
Media Credentials Requests
The University of Arkansas at Monticello Athletic Communications office is ready to assist the media in any way possible. Any member of the press wishing to cover a sporting event at UAM must contact the Assistant Athletic Director of Athletic Communications, no later than 24 hours prior to the event to request seating spaceSeating is extremely limited and will be allocated as requests are received. If no request is made to cover an event, coverage will not be allowed without express permission.

With the exception of football, members of the media are not required to wear media passes. 
All credential passes will be held in the ticket booth before kick-off or in the Athletic Communications offices in Steelman Fieldhouse.


Interview Requests
Out-of-town or local media wishing to interview UAM student-athletes or coaches should contact the athletic communications office with their requests. Cell phone numbers for student-athletes will not be provided. Please do not contact a student-athlete or coach without scheduling the interview through the athletic communications office. Please note: Not all interview requests may be granted.

Post-game Interviews
Credentialed media members interested in conducting post-game interviews with any Arkansas-Monticello coaches or student-athletes are asked to notify the on-site athletic communications staff member BEFORE the contest begins. UAM has the right to turn down any interview request if deemed inappropriate or with the intent to cause controversy.


Seating: At football games, all media with the exception of visiting radio, will be seated on the second floor of the home-side press box. Visiting radio will be seated in the visitor's side press box. At basketball/volleyball games, all media will be seated at press row on the east side of the court. At baseball/softball games, media will either be seated in the press box or at tables along the fence behind home plate.

Radio: Requests to broadcast a UAM sporting event must be made to the Assistant Athletic Director of Athletic Communications at least 48 hours in advance. Phone lines are only available for visiting broadcast crew at football and basketball games. Due to limited seating, only official UAM and visiting team broadcast personnel are guaranteed an opportunity to broadcast.
