MONTICELLO —
The University of Arkansas at Monticello football team is back at Willis "Convoy" Leslie Cotton Boll Stadium for the fourth time this season this Saturday, October 17 to host the No. 19 nationally-ranked Henderson State Reddies on Saturday, October 17.

Kickoff is set for 3 p.m. The game can be heard on the UAM Sports Network at KHBM-FM 93.7 in Monticello and online at UAMsports.com. Live stats and live streaming video will also be available.

LAST TIME OUT
Everything clicked last Saturday for UAM, and the Weevils snapped an eight-game losing streak by beating the Southern Nazarene Crimson Storm 51-10 at Convoy Leslie Cotton Boll Stadium on Homecoming. UAM's offensive unit had stats that had not been seen in at least seven years. For starters, the Weevils went above 600 yards in total offense for the first time since the 2008 season with 434 passing yards and 233 rushing yards. Individually, senior quarterback Hunter Leppert became the first Weevil to have at least five touchdown passes in a single game since Cory Allred threw for six scores against Henderson State in the 2003 season. Leppert finished the game 25-for-32 through the air for 398 yards and no interceptions. UAM also had its first 100-yard rusher for the 2015 season in sophomore Jeremy Jackson, who carried 11 times for 106 yards. Read more on page 9.

LEPPERT NAMED GAC OFFENSIVE CO-PLAYER OF THE WEEK
UAM senior quarterback Hunter Leppert was named the GAC Offensive Co-Player of the Week this past Tuesday after the most efficient game of his career against SNU. He was just two yards shy of his second consecutive 400-yard performance in that win. The Minden, Louisiana native completed 78 percent of his passes for 398 yards and five touchdowns with no interceptions. He shared this week's GAC honor with Arkansas Tech running back Bryan Allen, who rushed for 279 yards in a 30-12 win over Ouachita this past Saturday... Leppert moved into fifth place all-time at UAM in passing yards two weeks ago against Oklahoma Baptist and now has 5,429 career passing yards. Leppert is currently chasing fourth place passer Jay Austin, who threw for 6,178 yards from 1993-96. Leppert also continues his climb on UAM's all-time passing touchdowns and total offense charts. He now stands in sixth place with 44 career passing touchdowns and fifth all-time in total offense at 5,659 yards.

KOSE ONE OF GAC'S TOP TACKLERS
UAM senior linebacker Ofisa Kose has topped the double-digit mark in tackles in four out of six games this season and currently ranks third in the Great American Conference in the category. He currently has 61 total tackles and averages 10.2 stops per game.

THREE RECEIVERS RANK IN GAC TOP 10
As expected with the GAC's top passing offense, three of UAM's receivers are among the top 10 in the league in yards per game. Sophomore Jalen Tolliver is second in the league at 91.3 yards per game, followed by senior Cody Bordelon in 6th at 69.8 and junior Trevon Smith in seventh at 61.2. Bordelon also ranks eighth in the league with an average of 4.2 receptions per game.

MCGEE WITHIN SINGLE DIGITS OF ALL-TIME RECORD
UAM junior kicker Jamie McGee nailed his fifth field goal of the 2015 season in this past Saturday's win over SNU, giving him 28 career made field goals and pulling him to within nine of the all-time UAM record of 37 by Kevin Craft from 1997-2000. McGee is 5-for-6 on field goals this season and 21-for-22 on extra points, ranking him sixth in the GAC in scoring among kickers at six points per game.

JACKSON AMONG ALL-PURPOSE LEADERS
UAM sophomore running back/return specialist Jeremy Jackson enters Saturday's game against Henderson State ranked sixth in the GAC in all-purpose yards. In addition to his team-high 238 rushing yards, Jackson has also totaled 127 receiving yards and 334 kickoff return yards for an average of 116.7 all-purpose yards per game.

SCOUTING THE REDDIES
19th-ranked Henderson State has won four consecutive games coming into Saturday's game and is tied with Arkansas Tech as the only one-loss teams in the Great American Conference. The Reddies are nationally-ranked for the first time this season after recording a come-from-behind 22-17 win over then-ranked No. 22 Harding last Saturday in Searcy. HSU started the season with a 23-16 win over Southeastern Oklahoma on the road, followed by its only loss of the season so far in a 35-28 setback to East Central at home. The Reddies then posted wins over Northwestern Oklahoma State (25-17), Southwestern Oklahoma State (33-0) and Arkansas Tech (17-7) before last weekend's game against Harding. Statistically, the Reddies have one of the best defenses in the GAC and have intercepted 15 passes.

79TH ALL-TIME MEETING
Saturday's game against Henderson State is the 79th all-time meeting between the Weevils and Reddies on the gridiron, representing the second-most played opponent in school history, second only to Southern Arkansas (89). The Reddies have won five straight games over the Weevils. UAM's last win over HSU was a 51-48 victory in Arkadelphia in the 2008 season. During that game, UAM quarterback Scott Buisson set a new NCAA record with 640 yards of total offense by himself (424 passing, 216 rushing).
