@WEEVILFOOTBALL SET FOR HOMECOMING GAME AGAINST SOUTHERN NAZARENE

MONTICELLO —
 The University of Arkansas at Monticello football team will look to keep its winning streak alive as the Weevils will face the Crimson Storm of Southern Nazarene this Saturday, October 21 in Monticello, Arkansas.

Kick-off is scheduled for 3:00 p.m. at WCL Cotton Boll Stadium on the campus of UAM. The game can be heard on the UAM Sports Network at KHBM-FM 93.7 in Monticello, watched online and followed with live stats at www.UAMsports.com/coverage.aspx.

UAM VS. SNU  |  HISTORY
The match-up between the Weevils and the Crimson Storm will be just the fifth ever in these two program's football history. In the first ever meeting between these two squads in 2013, UAM defeated Southern Nazarene in Monticello, Arkansas by a final score of 22-19. The second football match-up between these two universities saw the Weevils get the victory over SNU by a score of 44-37, and the third meeting saw Arkansas-Monticello beat Southern Nazarene by a final score of 51-10. Last season UAM fell to the Crimson Storm on the road in Bethany, Oklahoma by a final score of 31-17. The Weevils currently hold a 3-1 series lead over SNU heading into this fifth match-up.

SCOUTING THE CRIMSON STORM
SNU is coming off a 21-14 loss at home to the Tigers of Ouachita Baptist in week seven. Southern Nazarene is led on offense by quarterback Jacob Spady who leads the team in both passing (695 yards, seven touchdowns) and rushing (531 yards, six touchdowns) this season. The program's leading receiver is Reid Roelofs with 19 catches this year for 259 yards, and has totaled four touchdowns as well. Defensively the Crimson Storm are anchored by Josh Jordan with a team high 69 tackles, and leads in interceptions with three overall. Zack Loyd is the squad's sack leader with 3.0 total on the year, and has recorded 24 tackles through seven games as well.

LAST TIME OUT
Arkansas-Monticello took down GAC opponent Oklahoma Baptist on the road in Shawnee, Oklahoma by a final score of 64-21. The dominant performance by the Weevils saw outstanding games by running-back Nigal Dora with 16 carries for 101 yards, and one rushing touchdown, and defensive back Christian Jefferson who led the team in tackles with 10, along with adding one interception, one forced fumble, one fumble recovery, and one pass broken up to his overall stat-line. Cole Sears also provided some offensive fire power with 241 passing yards and five total passing touchdowns to help lead UAM to its second straight victory.

The Weevils will face the Tigers of Ouachita Baptist University on the road in Arkadelphia, Arkansas inside of Cliff Harris Stadium with kick-off scheduled for 1:00 p.m.
