CLEVELAND, Miss. - The University of Arkansas at Monticello men's golf team finished ninth out of 10 teams at the 30th Derrall Foreman Invitational Tuesday. The tournament is being hosted by Delta State on the Sam Dunning Course at the Cleveland Country Club.
The Weevils posted a collective 864 for an even score in the three round tournament.
The top finisher for UAM was Carson Garner who posted a 70 in his final round to end the event with a total of 211 (-5) to tie for 30th overall.
Andrew Pearson and TJ Baker followed both tying for 43rd in the tournament each recording two-day totals of 218 (+2).
Rounding out the group of five for the Weevils were Julian Audibert and Ethan Bearden who landed tied for 48th overall each shooting a total of 221 (+5).
Owen Page tied for 51st after posting a three-round total of 223 (+7) playing as an individual.
UP NEXT
The Weevils compete in the Battle for the Belt hosted by Henderson State in Hot Springs, Arkansas. The tournament will be held on October 4-5.
