SHAWNEE, Okla. - The University of Arkansas at Monticello women's golf team sits in second out of six teams after one round at the OBU Fall Invitational Monday. The tournament is being hosted by Oklahoma Baptist at the Shawnee Country Club.
The Blossoms posted a collective 320 to land just three strokes behind first after 18 holes.
Four players for UAM sit in the top 10 overall at the end of day one. Worawalan Siwaiyapram leads the way for the Blossoms after shooting a round of 74 Monday to land one stroke behind the overall leader.
Gabriela Maldonado finished tied for third after posting a 77 in round one Monday. Following right behind her was Emilie Bergh-Jacobsen who landed in fifth with a round of 78. The other player sitting in the top 10 at the end of the first round was Chiara Sturaro who shot an 84 to tie for ninth.
Rounding out the group for the Blossoms were Shehna Akbary who ended the first day tied for 13th with an 85 and Kensley Miller who sits 16th overall with an 87.

The Blossoms will wrap up at the OBU Fall Invitational Tuesday in Shawnee, Okla. The first tee time for UAM is set for 8:50 a.m.
