CLARKSVILLE, Ark. - The University of Arkansas at Monticello men's cross country team crossed the finish line in sixth at the University of the Ozark Invitational on Saturday. The team placed sixth out of eight teams in the event.
The Weevils completed the course with a total time of 3:04:30 to finish in sixth place as a team.
The top runner for UAM was Seth Reid, who landed with a 40th overall finish after completing the event with a time of 30:28.
The next finisher for the Weevils was Gilberto Fernandez who placed 51st overall with a time of 32:04. Bryant Gonzalez followed next finishing 55th overall.
Rounding out the group for UAM were Sam Bostian and Brandon Gurnsey, who landed 65th and 70th overall.

The Weevils will compete in the Lois Davis Invitational hosted by Southern Arkansas University on Friay, Oct. 14, in Magnolia, Arkansas.
