TUNICA, Miss. – The Arkansas-Monticello women's golf team completed the final day of the Tunica Cup on Tuesday afternoon, after having the tournament cut to just two rounds due to incoming weather. UAM finished the tournament in 6th place.
Chiara Sturaro led the Blossoms throughout the tournament. She finished the tournament tied for 12th and carded 12-over for the event.
Worawalan Siwaiyapram finished tied for 20th place. She shot an 80 in round 1, followed by an 83 in round 2.
Shehna Akbary and
Gabriela Maldonado both recorded their best round of the tournament in the second round. Akbary improved her second round by 10 strokes, finishing the event tied for 25th. Maldonado would shoot 3 less strokes in her second round, finishing tied for 28th.
Emilie Bergh-Jacobsen shot an 83 in the first round, and an 88 in round 2. She finished the tournament in 31st.

The UAM women's golf team will return to action on February 28th when the Blossoms open play at the Natural State Classic hosted by Harding University in Cabot, Arkansas.
