SHAWNEE, Okla. – The Arkansas-Monticello women's golf team closed out Day 1 of the OBU Fall Invitational Tournament on Monday afternoon at the Shawnee Country Club Golf Course in Shawnee, Oklahoma. UAM closed out the first round of the tournament in third place.
Gabriela Maldonado led the Blossoms in the first day of the tournament, closing out round one tied for fourth place with a four-over, 76.
Chiara Sturaro came out of the first round shooting a 79. She finished the first round of the tournament tied for 7th.
Worawalan Siwaiyapram finished the day tied for 10th place. She shot an 80 in round one.
Getsemani Carlos Lopez closed out day one tied for 18th place with a first round 85.
Robbi Jo Freeman finished the day in 29th place, shooting an 103 in her first round.
