BROKEN ARROW, Okla – The Arkansas-Monticello women's golf team played in the opening round of the 24th annual NSU Women's Classic at the Club at Indian Springs in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma on Monday afternoon. The Blossoms came out of day one of the tournament in eleventh place.
Mekdes Rozas led the Blossoms in the opening round of the tournament, closing out day one shooting a 5-over 77 in her first round. She finished the day tied for 26th place.
Natalie Van Dort came out of day one tied for 39th place after shooting a round one 79.
Chiara Sturaro finished the day tied for 49th place. She shot an 81 in her first round of the tournament.
Ximena Paz closed out day one tied for 67th place, with a first round 85.
Robbi Jo Freeman finished the day tied for 78th place, shooting an opening round 90.
