BROKEN ARROW, Okla – The Arkansas-Monticello women's golf team played in the final day of the 24th annual NSU Women's Classic at the Club at Indian Springs in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma on Tuesday afternoon. The Blossoms came out of day two of the tournament in eleventh place overall.
Chiara Sturaro came out with an improvement on her score compared to day one. She led the Blossoms in the closing round of the tournament, shooting a 3-over 75 to improve from her 81 on Monday. She finished the event tied for 34th place.
Mekdes Rozas came out of day two tied for 40th place in the tournament. She shot an 81 in round two, following her first round 77.
Natalie Van Dort finished closed out her tournament performance with an 85 in round two. She shot an 79 in her first round of the tournament and finished the event tied for 54th.
Ximena Paz shot an 84 in her second round, improving by a stroke from the 85 she posted in round one. She leaves the NSU Women's Classic with a 70th place finish.
Robbi Jo Freeman f is the final Blossom to compete in the tournament, carding a 97 in her final round. She shot an opening round 90 on Monday and finished the tournament in 82nd.
