MONTICELLO, Ark. - The University of Arkansas at Monticello Athletics Department announced that tickets to the 2023 UAM Sports Hall of Fame Ceremony are now available for purchase!
UAM Athletics is very excited to have each of this year's Hall of Fame inductees back on campus for the ceremony! Each of the former Weevils and Cotton Blossoms left a mark on this university that has stood throughout time. We will honor all the inductees on Thursday, September 28 in the University Center.
The 2023 induction class was chosen by a selection committee, and includes former 3x All-American football player
Jalen Tolliver;
Cole Sears, an Academic All-American, All-Regional and All-GAC football player;
Andres Rios, an All-American and 2x 1st Team All-GAC baseball player;
Jordan Goforth, an All-Amercian, 2x 1st Team All-GAC, and former GAC freshman of the year women's basketball player;
Kori Forge, an All-American, 2010-2020 All-GAC Decade Team member, and former GAC Player of the Year basketball player; and
Larry and Shirley Fisackerly as
this year's Spirit Award winners.
Similar to last year, UAM's very own Baptist Christian Ministry Director, and 2022 Spirit Award winner, Jeremy Woodall will be introducing each of the inductees during the Hall of Fame ceremony. He will be presenting them all based on the recognitions named on the 2023 Hall of Fame Class announcement release. (

For those looking to attend the honorary event, tickets are now available for purchase! Each ticket will be $25 and can be purchased by contacting the Assistant Athletic Director for External Affairs and Game Day Operations and Facilities,

Schedule for the week:
Thursday, September 28
- 5:00 PM - Reception in front of the Chancellor's home
- 6:00 PM - Hall of Fame Ceremony
Saturday, September 30
- 10:00 AM - All former UAM student athletes are encouraged to join us on tailgate row between 10:00 to 2:00.
- A tent will be set up for student-athlete alumni to join us!
- 10:30 AM - Join us for the ribbon cutting of the brand new Kenneth H. Hunt Athletic Performance Center
- 2:00 PM - We invite all fans to attend the Weevil Football game, where we will once again recognize this year's Hall of Fame inductees during half time.
