MONTICELLO, Ark. – The University of Arkansas at Monticello Football team hosts Southeastern Oklahoma State this afternoon at Willis "Convoy" Leslie Cotton Boll Stadium for the 2024 Homecoming Game, sponsored by Commercial Bank and Ryburn Automotive.

TICKETS
THE MATCHUP
The University of Arkansas at Monticello Football team hosts Southeastern Oklahoma State for the seventh time in program history. The Weevils and Savage Storm saw their first meeting in 1979, but would not face off again until 2011.
LAST MEETING
Arkansas-Monticello lost to Southeastern in heartbreak fashion during the 2023 season, dropping the game, 22-21 on the road. The Boll Weevils tabbed 322 yards of total offense, recording three touchdowns in that contest.
Buddy Taylor led the air attack, connecting with 21-25 attempts for 224 yards. He hit both
LaCedric Smith and
Javonnie Gibson for touchdowns. Taylor also led the team on the ground, rushing for a net of 31 yards in the contest, with a long of 14 yards and a touchdown.
All-TIME SERIES
UAM trails in the all-time series, 4-9, with eight of the last 10 match-ups between the two resulting in a loss for Monticello. The Boll Weevils are 2-4 at home against Southeastern, with the last win in Monticello in 2013 on a 42-34 victory. The largest margin of victory for the Weevils came in the 1979 season with a 41-7 win. The Weevils average 23.77 points against the Savage Storm.

The Boll Weevils are currently sitting 2-3, following a loss to East Central in week five. Monticello sits seventh in the GAC in scoring and sixth in total offense, averaging 21.4 points per contest and 340.6 yards of offense per game. The Boll Weevils land seventh in the conference in rushing, posting 670 total yards and averaging 134 on the ground per game. Defensively, UAM ranks eighth in total defense, surrendering 361.2 yards per contest and 11th in scoring defense, allowing 37.8 points per game. Offensively, running back
Tyler Reed leads the run game, averaging 61.4 yards a contest.
Isaiah Cross is the top target in the receiving game for UAM, totaling 268 yards on 17 receptions.

WALK OF CHAMPIONS
Weevil Football's traditional 'Walk of Champions' will be held two and a half hours before kick-off. The Boll Weevils will travel down Tailgate Row, along with the UAM cheer team and band, approaching Willis "Convoy" Leslie Cotton Boll Stadium.
Fans are encouraged to cheer on the team, but not to interrupt the event.

ON-FIELD ACCESS
Authorized UAM personnel and stand-by medical staff are the only ones with on-field access during the Weevil Football games. All other unauthorized personnel are required to stay within the stands. The following are prohibited at Willis "Convoy" Leslie Cotton Boll Stadium:

RESTROOMS
Restrooms for all fans are on the opposite side of the UAM Indoor Practice Facility as the field. There are also portable bathrooms behind the UAM student section on the south side of the home stands.
