CABOT, Ark. – The Arkansas-Monticello women's golf team closed out the Natural State Golf Classic in Cabot, Arkansas at the Cypress Crekk Golf Club on Tuesday afternoon. The Blossoms closed out the tournament tied for 9th place overall with a combined score of 644.
Chiara Sturaro led the Blossoms in the closing round of the tournament, shooting a 7-over 79, the lowest score of all the Blossoms for day 2. She finished the event tied for 24th place.
Ximena Paz shot an 81 in her second round, after scoring an 75 in round one. She leaves the Natural State Golf Classic tied for tied for 29th place.
Natalie Van Dort finished out her tournament performance with an 82 in round two. She shot an 79 in her first round of the tournament and finished the event tied for 45th.
Mekdes Rozas came out of day two in 61st place in the tournament. She shot an 87 in round two, following her first round of 85 as well.
Robbi Jo Freeman is the final Blossom to compete in the tournament, carding a 88 in her final round. She shot an opening round 92 on Monday and finished the tournament in tied for 65th.
