ELDORADO, Ark. – The Arkansas-Monticello women's golf team played in the opening round of the Women's Arkansas Collegiate at the Mystic Creek Golf Club in Eldorado, Arkansas on Monday afternoon. The Blossoms came out of day one of the tournament in tied for 6th place overall, with
Chiara Sturaro leading the way for UAM.
TEAM
Chiara Sturaro led the Blossoms in the opening round of the tournament, closing out her first 18 holes with a 4-over 76. She finished the day tied for 1st place.
Natalie Van Dort was the next Blossom on the score card with an 89 on the day. VanDort closed out day one in 25th place.
Mekdes Rozas closed out day one of the tournament scoring an 91, finishing the day tied for 29th.
Ximena Paz was the last Blossom to score in the 90 on the day. Paz closed out day one in 34th, with a score of 94.
Robbi Jo Freeman is the final Blossom competing with the team. She finished the day in 39th place, shooting an opening round 104.
INDIVIDUALS
Anna Beth Reynolds closed out day one of the tournament in 40th place, with a score of 108 on the day.
