BROKEN ARROW, Okla. – The Arkansas-Monticello women's golf team played in day two of the 2024 Great American Conference Championship Tournament at the Golf Club at Forest Ridge on Monday. The Blossoms finished the opening round tied for 8th place overall, alongside Southern Arkansas with a team score of 661.
Chiara Sturaro lead the Blossoms throughout round two, improving her score drastically from round one, carding an even 72. She closed out the day tied for 8th.
Natalie Van Dort was the next Blossom on the leader board, closing out round two with a 86 to tie for 33rd place.
Mekdes Rozas was the third Blossoms on the leader board, shooting an 83 in round two to finish the day in 35th.
Ximena Paz followed behind, scoring a 17-over 89. She closed out her second round of 18 holes tied for 42nd place overall.
Robbi Jo Freeman finished round two in 49th place after carding an improving 94 in her second 18 holes of play.
