SPRINGFIELD, MO. – The Arkansas-Monticello women's golf team played in day two of the Women's Spring Regional at the Rivercut Golf Club in Springfield, Missouri on Tuesday afternoon. The Blossoms finished the tournament tied for 12th place overall, with a combined score of 953.
Mekdes Rozas led the Blossoms throughout the entire tournament, closing out day one with a 77 in round one and a 79 in round two. Rozas closed out the tournament with an astounding 1-under 71 in her final round of the tournament. Rozas finished tied for 12th place, with a total score of 227.
Chiara Sturaro was next on the leader board, shooting a 78 in both of her first two rounds. She finished the tournament scoring an 83 in her final round. She left the event tied for 51st place overall with a total score of 239.
Ximena Paz was the third Blossoms to compete, shooting a 76, 84, and 82 throughout her three rounds. She left the final day tied for 62nd place overall with a total score of 242.
Natalie Van Dort followed close behind, scoring an 81 and an 80 in the first two rounds. She shot an 84 on day two of the tournament, finishing the tournament tied for 67th after her final 18 holes.
Robbi Jo Freeman closed the tournament on a high note, dropping her score from day one by shooting a 90. She opened the tournament with an 98 and a 97 in her first two rounds.
