SHAWNEE, Okla. - The University of Arkansas at Monticello football team traveled to Shawnee on Saturday afternoon. The Boll Weevils took on fellow Great American Conference member Oklahoma Baptist University for their week six match-up of the 2025 season. The contest concluded with a 17-14 loss for UAM.
Quarterback
Tavion Faulk gave a 20-32 performance with 254 passing yards.
Chasden Collins was the leading receiver in the game, grabbing six receptions for 128 total yards, with the longest being 47 yards.
Michael Lott and
TJ Fields were right behind with four receptions apiece, with 32 and 31 yards, respectively. On the ground,
Faulk led the Boll Weevils with 11 carries for 56 yards.
Defensively,
Ghee Evans stood above the rest with 11 total tackles and eight solo stops on the night.
Charles Stinson led the day on special teams, going 2-2 on PATs.

"Faced a team who is fighting for their season, and we didn't match that. We have to overcome adversity and learn from it. We had many chances to break free, and we didn't do it. Momentum is so important in football, and we have to find a way to ride it when it presents itself to us. This one hurts, but competitors bounce back and we will. Big one this week at home. We will be prepared!! Eat'em up!"
