MONTICELLO, Ark. --
The University of Arkansas at Monticello football team will host the Crimson Storm of Southern Nazarene on Saturday, Oct. 4. The teams will see a 6 p.m. kickoff at Willis "Convoy" Leslie Cotton Boll Stadium for the 2025 Homecoming Game.
The Boll Weevils head into the weekend after a monstrous road victory over in-state rival Arkansas Tech in week four, where they claimed a 31-24 win over the Wonder Boys. UAM currently holds a 1-3 record heading into week five, where they will face off with the Crimson Storm of Southern Nazarene. SNU is also 1-3 going into the weekend, having its only victory come on the road against East Central in week three.
Southern Nazarene is coming to Monticello off a 27-21 loss to Southeastern Oklahoma State.

THE MATCHUP
The University of Arkansas at Monticello Football team hosts Southern Nazarene University this evening at Willis "Convoy" Leslie Cotton Boll Stadium for the 2025 Homecoming / Hall of Fame Day, sponsored by Commercial Bank and Ryburn Automotive.
LAST MEETING
Arkansas-Monticello lost to Southern Nazarene during the 2024 season, dropping the game 21-24 on the road. The Boll Weevils tabbed 362 yards of total offense, recording three touchdowns in that contest.
Demilon Brown led the air attack, connecting with 12-19 attempts for 170 yards and one touchdown. Brown also led the team on the ground, rushing for a net of 79 yards in the contest, with a long of 24 yards and a touchdown.
All-TIME SERIES
UAM leads in the all-time series, 8-3, with seven of the last ten match-ups between the two resulting in a win for Monticello. The Boll Weevils are 5-1 at home against Southern Nazarene, with the last win in Monticello coming in 2021 on a 30-23 victory. The largest margin of victory for the Weevils came during the 2015 season with a 51-10 win. The Weevils average 30.91 points against the Savage Storm.

The Boll Weevils are currently sitting 1-3, following a win against Arkansas Tech in week four. Monticello sits ninth in the GAC in scoring and ninth in total offense, averaging 18.8 points per contest and 336.5 yards of offense per game. The Boll Weevils land twelfth in the conference in rushing, posting 93 total rushing yards against the Savage Storm. Ahmari Cox and
TJ Fields are the top targets in the receiving game for UAM, with Cox totaling 183 yards on 10 receptions and Fields totaling 176 yards on 17 receptions.

The University of Arkansas at Monticello Athletics Department is excited to welcome fans for tailgating during the 2025 football season. With the season returning in less than two weeks, UAM Athletics is excited for fans to return to tailgate row supporting the Boll Weevils!

WALK OF CHAMPIONS
Weevil Football's traditional 'Walk of Champions' will be held two and a half hours before kick-off. The Boll Weevils will travel down Tailgate Row, along with the UAM cheer team and band, approaching Willis "Convoy" Leslie Cotton Boll Stadium.
Fans are encouraged to cheer on the team, but not to interrupt the event.

ON-FIELD ACCESS
Authorized UAM personnel and stand-by medical staff are the only ones with on-field access during the Weevil Football games. All other unauthorized personnel are required to stay within the stands. The following are prohibited at Willis "Convoy" Leslie Cotton Boll Stadium:

RESTROOMS
Restrooms for all fans are on the opposite side of the UAM Indoor Practice Facility as the field. There are also portable bathrooms behind the UAM student section on the south side of the home stands.
