Week 10 Preview: Weevils Football Travel to NWOSU

MONTICELLO, Ark. – The University of Arkansas at Monticello football team travels to Alva, Oklahoma, on Saturday to take on the Rangers of Northwestern Oklahoma State University. The contest will be the tenth match-up of the season for the Boll Weevils.

The Boll Weevils enter the weekend following a 49–7 Senior Day Game loss to Southwestern Oklahoma State in Week nine. UAM now holds a 2–7 record on the season after a tough home loss.

The 2025 season is the 14th season under the helm of Head Coach Hud Jackson, who first led UAM in the 2011 season, which marked the program's first year in the Great American Conference.

"We have a really long road trip this week heading up to Northwestern Oklahoma," said Coach Jackson. "We've had a productive week of practice. Got a couple guys back who have been banged up. A couple new faces that will travel with us this week. All games are big games for us. Be great to get back in the winning column! Eat'em up!"
