NEWTON, Kansas. - The University of Arkansas at Monticello Women's Golf Team completed the 2025 Newman Fall Invite on Tuesday leaving tied for sixth place after 32 holes. The Blossoms posted a combined team score of 631, 55-over par, shooting 310 (+22) in round one and 321 (+33) in round two.
Missouri Western took home the title with a final team score of 20-over par (596). The Blossoms were the third-best finishing team of the Great American Conference members competing in the tournament. UAM finished behind Southwestern Oklahoma State and Northwestern Oklahoma State.
Faith Hendren led the Blossoms tied for 21st at 13-over par (157). Hendren fired a first-round of 3-over par (75), before closing out the tournament with a score of 82 (+10).
Tori Milton, Renata Abad, and Kenzie McCleny completed the tournament tied for 23rd, with a final score of 158 (+14). Milton shot a first-round score of 77 (+5) and a second-round at 9-over par (81). Abad shot a first-round score of 80 (+8) and a second-round at 6-over par (78). McCleny shot a first-round score of 78 (+6) and a second-round at 8-over par (80).
Natalie Van Dort closed out the tournament for the Blossoms tied for 38th with a score of 164 (+20). Van Dort completed round one with a score of 80 (+8), before putting up 12-over par (84) in the final round.
The Blossoms combined for 16 birdies through the tournament, with 11 in round one and five in round two.
NEXT TIME ON THE LINKS: The Blossoms will be back on the links October 12th and 13th for the 4th Annual Battle for the Belt tournament hosted by Henderson State University. The two day tournament will be held in Hot Springs, Arkansas.
