BROKEN ARROW, Okla. - The Arkansas-Monticello Weevils Golf currently sit in 9th place after day one of the 2026 GAC Championship at the Forest Ridge Golf Club in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. The Weevils fired a combined round one score of 19-over par (307).
Daniel Taylor led the day for the Boll Weevils, carding 2-over par (74), to finish round one tied for eighth.
Blayden Gillham currently sits tied for 21st with a round one firing of 4-over par (76).
Penciling 78 (+6),
James Fuhrer sits tied for 37th after day one of the championship.
Landry Rogers tied for 45th in round one, firing a 79 (+7) on the day.
Closing out the day for UAM was
Carson Slaughter, who carded an 8-over par (80) in round one, to tie for 49th.
The Weevils combined for 12 birdies on the day, with Taylor leading with four.
The Weevils continue action in the GAC Championship Tournament tomorrow, starting at 8:00 a.m.
