BROKEN ARROW, Okla. - The Arkansas-Monticello Weevils Golf closed out the second round of the GAC Championship on Monday afternoon at the Forest Ridge Golf Club. The Weevils combined for a second round carding of 22-over par (310), sitting tied for eighth, with a two round combined pencil of 617 (+41).
Leading the Weevils in round two was
Landry Rogers, who carded even-par (72), finishing the day tied for 20th.
Blayden Gillham was next for Arkansas-Monticello closing day two tied for 30th, after firing a 77 (+5).
Coming in tied at 34th, after carding an 8-over par (80) was
Daniel Taylor.
James Fuhrer and
Carson Slaughter closed the day for UAM finishing tied for 50th. Fuhrer penciled an 11-over par (83), while Slaughter fired 9-over par (81).
The Weevils combined for birdies nine birdies on the day, with Taylor currently leads Arkansas-Monticello with six, Gillham follows with five.
The Weevils conclude the GAC Championship Tournament tomorrow, starting at 8:00 a.m.
