Biography

2018-19 (Senior) :  


2017-18 (Redshirt) :  Watts saw action in two early match-ups but was granted a medical red-shirt after suffering a season ending injury on the field. 


2016-17 (Junior) :  Ja'lon was the UAM leading tackler in year three with 66 total tackles, with another team-high of 11.5 tackles for a loss...He recorded a team-high 4.5 sacks, and added one forced fumble, three passes broken up, and three passes deflected during the season as well.


2015-16 (Sophomore) :  Appeared in 10 total contests on the defensive side of the ball, totaling 19 tackles, 2.5 tackles for a loss, and one quarterback hurry. 


2014-15 (Freshman) :  Appeared in seven games in his debut season with the Weevils, totaling eight tackles on the year. 


Personal : Attended East Ascension High School located in Gonzales, Louisiana where he earned a Most Valuable Player award, along with being selected as a three-time All-District player...Watts is currently majoring in welding while attending Arkansas-Monticello.
