Gary Walker enters his first season at Arkansas Monticello in 2024 as the Strength Conditioning Coordinator and Defensive Line Coach.

Walker finished his season at the University of Alabama as the defensive line graduate assistant in 2023. The Crimson Tide were one game away from competing for the 2024 National Championship but took a tragic loss at the hands of the University of Michigan. Before Alabama, Walker spent the 2022 season as a Defensive Analyst at the University of Miami. Walker served as a defensive line graduate assistant coach at Auburn University, in 2020-2021. He aided in the development of several tigers that went on to earn spots in the NFL.

The Toccoa, GA, native graduated from Auburn University in 2019 with a bachelor’s degree in Ag Business, and in 2021 with a Master’s degree in Agriculture. From 2015-2019, Walker played defensive line at Auburn University. In 2019, Walker played nose tackle for the Tigers where he saw action in 8 games that season while recording two TFL’s and a pressure in the 2020 Outback Bowl versus Minnesota.

Coach is the oldest of five kids including Gavin Walker, Garrison Walker, Samara Walker, and Gabrielle Walker. In his spare time Coach likes to indulge in hobbies such as reading, writing, hunting, and fishing. As far as pets he is a dog dad to 20 beagles and 5 coon dogs.
