Ryan Lusby is entering his fifth year as the Offensive Coordinator for the Boll Weevils and came to Monticello from Coffeyville Community College.
At Coffeyville, he served as the team’s Offensive Coordinator and Recruiting Coordinator for one season. He also mentored eight All-Conference selections and one Junior college All-American.
Prior to his time at Coffeyville, Lusby served as the Quarterbacks Coach and Recruiting Coordinator for the Henderson State University football team. There, he coached three All-Conference selections, won one Great American Conference Championship, and helped lead the team to the second round of the NCAA Playoffs.
Lusby got his coaching start at his Alma Mater, Texas A&M University – Commerce, where he played Quarterback, and went on to become the wide receivers coach. While Coaching at Commerce, Lusby guided four All-Conference wide receivers, including a two-time Lone Star Conference Wide Receiver of the Year.
Lusby and his wife Catie have two sons, Peyton and Drew, and reside in Monticello.
