University of Arkansas at Monticello Athletics

Catie Tapp began her UAM Athletics career in August 2021 as the External Affairs and Academic Liaison. In January of 2022, Tapp saw a title change as she was elevated to Senior Woman Administrator on top of her previous two titles. Two months later, Tapp saw yet another title change as she was elevated to the Senior Woman Administrator as well as Assistant Athletic Director for Compliance, and Athletics Academic Coordinator.

As the Assistant Athletic Director for Athletic Compliance Tapp's main responsibility is to provide leadership in the university's and athletics' efforts to maintain control by developing systems that protect and assist coaches, student-athletes, the Athletic Department, and the university in following the rules of the Great American Conference and the NCAA.

An Overland Park, Kansas native, Tapp played Soccer at Emporia State University during the 2010 and 2011 seasons before transferring to Texas A&M University-Commerce for the 2012 and 2013 seasons. Tapp has an undergraduate degree in Education and a Masters in Sport Administration both from TAMUC.

Catie resides in Monticello with her husband Chad Tapp (UAM Head Men's Basketball coach), and their four children, Harper, Grace, Peyton, and Drew, and dog Weezy.
