Cole Anderson - 2025 Coaching Headshot

Cole Anderson

Cole Anderson joined the UAM men's basketball program in June 2025 and will enter his 1st season with the Boll Weevils as the Assistant Men's Basketball Coach during the 2025-26 season.

Anderson began his coaching career as a graduate assistant at fellow Great American Conference member Oklahoma Baptist University during the 2024-25 campaign.

Before becoming a coach, Anderson was a four-year college basketball player. In 2019, he began his collegiate career at Lyon College under the leadership of now co-worker Chad Tapp. Anderson made 20 starts, while appearing in 23 games for the Scots as a freshman in the 2019-2020 season.

After averaging 10.2 points over two seasons at Lyon, Anderson transferred to UAM, following Coach Tapp to be a Boll Weevil. He would finish out his playing career in the 2023-24 season with UAM.

A native of Magnet Cove, Arkansas, Anderson now resides in Monticello.
