Ryan Tow will enter his fifth year with the UAM Athletics Department in August 2025, after joining the staff as the Assistant Athletic Director for Athletic Communications in October 2021. Tow oversees all publicity and creative activities for the 10 sports sponsored by the athletics department.

Since joining the department, he has helped grow numerous digital campaigns within athletics, including the Performance Center Campaign, completed in 2023, and the Legacy Campaign. His role in the campaigns includes building digital marketing campaigns, producing content for campaign promotion, and distributing news of progress to the media.

In his role, he is responsible for creating and producing creative content for UAM's athletic programs and platforms. Tow produces a variety of content, including broadcasts, social media posts, in-venue video board pieces, departmental campaign videos, and more. He continues to grow the athletic department's digital footprint and online presence through various communication methods, social media content, marketing, and promotional campaigns to develop digital storytelling, features, and messaging.

Some of his digital responsibilities include the media day photo shoots for all 10 sports, the Boll Weevils' football programs, and season schedule posters. He also creates custom graphics, thumbnails, and video work for the department's numerous sports social media accounts.

In addition to the previously stated roles, Tow oversees the athletics website and produces both live streams and stats for each on-campus athletic event.

During the 2024 and 2025 postseason runs for the Weevils Baseball team, Tow traveled with the team to the regional and super regional sites, serving as the UAM Athletics Department's on-site administrator.

The Tennessee native is a 2019 graduate of UAM with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication. Throughout his five years as a student-athlete, he was a member of the Weevils Baseball team, earning four conference rings with the 2016, 2017, 2018, and 2019 teams. He saw his collegiate career cut short due to the COVID-19 outbreak in 2020.

In his free time, Tow enjoys working out, golfing, running, editing, and watching numerous sports and esports teams, including the Colorado Rockies, Arsenal F.C., and OpTic Gaming.

He married his wife, Jaye, a 2023 graduate of the UAM nursing school, in August of 2023. They reside in Wilmar with their dog, Ruthie.
