Sam Mora

Coach Samuel Mora begins his first season as the quarterbacks coach for the Boll Weevils at The University of Arkansas Monticello. A graduate of Rocky Mountain College, he holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication Studies.

Coach Mora began his coaching career in 2010 at the high school level, with a brief hiatus to train NFL Draft prospects. He served as offensive coordinator on four high school conference championship teams and has worked with future collegiate and professional talent, including Jameis Winston, Johnny Manziel, Bryce Petty, Mike Evans, Logan Thomas, Connor Cook, and Keelan Doss.

Prior to joining the Boll Weevils football staff, Coach Mora played a key role in the turnaround at Rocky Mountain College—helping lead the team from a 4–7 season to a 7–3 record and a Frontier Conference Championship. He coached quarterback Nate Dick, who earned Honorable Mention All-American honors in 2021, and Dawson Schick, an All-Frontier Conference selection in the spring 2021 season.

Originally from Oakland, California, Coach Mora now resides in Monticello with his fiancée, Micah, their daughters, Stella, and Santana, as well as their dog, Cosmo.
