Skylar Padgett

Arkansas-Monticello's Head Softball Coach Kyle Lem has announced the hiring of Skylar Padgett as the newest member of the Blossoms coaching staff in July of 2024.

Padgett joins the Blossoms softball program after appearing in 41 games as a graduate transfer with the Wildcats of Abilene Christian University, and having played in over 150 games at North Dakota State University in her four seasons on the Bison softball team. Padgett was listed on the Summit League Commissioner’s List of Academic Excellence during her time with the Bison and was selected for the Summit League All-Tournament Honors in 2022.

Upon her arrival to Monticello, Coach Padgett will be coming off the heels of being the Head Coach of the inaugural season of the Bat City Batz of the Lone Star State Collegiate League.

“I am incredibly grateful for the opportunity to start my coaching journey at UAM and to work alongside Coach Lem,” said Coach Padgett. “I am filled with so much excitement and very eager to dive in and start working with the team. I look forward to meeting each of the players and building strong, supportive relationships as we strive for success together.”

Coach Padgett received her Bachelor’s in Human Development and Family Science from North Dakota State University and is working toward her Master’s in Conflict Management and Resolution.
