TY Hinson Headshot 26 Football Coach

Ty Hinson

Ty Hinson enters his first year as Offensive Line Coach and Run Game Coordinator at the University of Arkansas Monticello with championship experience and a proven track record of developing elite talent at multiple levels of collegiate football.

In 2025, he served as the Tight Ends / Running Backs Coach at Delta State University, where he coached multiple All-Gulf South Conference performers, including Nick Clark (1st Team All-Conference All-Purpose Back; 2nd Team All-Conference Running Back) and Carter Coullard (2nd Team All-Conference Tight End).

Hinson began his coaching career in 2022 as the Assistant Offensive Line Coach at McNeese State University, where he assisted in the development of the Cowboys’ offensive front and run game structure.

In 2023, he moved to the Power Five level as the Offensive Line Graduate Assistant at West Virginia University. That season, WVU finished as the No. 1 rushing offense in Power Five football, showcasing one of the nation’s most dominant ground attacks. During his time in Morgantown, Hinson worked directly with standout linemen including Zach Frazier, now the starting center for the Pittsburgh Steelers, and Wyatt Milum, currently with the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Hinson returned to McNeese State in 2024 as the Tight Ends Coach, expanding his experience in skill development and run-game implementation.

A former standout offensive lineman at Valdosta State University (2018–2021), Hinson was part of one of the most successful stretches in program history. During his playing career, he helped lead the Blazers to a National Championship, three Gulf South Conference (GSC) Championships, and a National Championship Runner-Up finish. As a senior team captain, he anchored an offense that featured three 1,000-yard rushers in a single season, reinforcing the physical, run-dominant identity that continues to define his coaching philosophy.

Hinson now brings his diverse positional experience, championship background, and proven ability to develop NFL-caliber talent to Arkansas Monticello, where he leads the offensive line and coordinates the run game with a physical, disciplined, and detail-oriented approach rooted in winning traditions.
