Walker Torrain is entering his second season as the running backs coach at the University of Arkansas at Monticello in 2025. Walker arrived at UAM in the spring of 2024 after spending one season at Northwestern State University as a Graduate Assistant, where he was the Assistant Offensive Line Coach.

Before his time at Northwestern State, he was a Graduate Assistant at Kansas Wesleyan University. While with the Coyotes, he was the defensive line coach and video coordinator in 2021 and switched to the offensive side of the ball in 2022, where he coached the running backs and served as the equipment manager.

Walker helped lead KWU to an 8-3 regular season in 2022 and coached junior Nickolas Allsman to First Team All-KCAC and sophomore Mark Benjamin to Second Team All-KCAC accolades. As a defensive assistant in 2021, junior Cole Parker became a unanimous First Team All-KCAC selection and an honorable mention all-American.
Walker began his career at Midwestern State University as a student Assistant from 2018 to 2021
Torrain earned his Bachelor's Degree in Sports and Leisure Studies from Midwestern State in 2021 and a Master's Degree in Business Administration from Kansas Wesleyan University in 2021.

Torrain, a Native of McKinney, Texas, now resides in Monticello with his Fiancé Zoie.
