BLOSSOMS ON 10-GAME WIN STREAK AFTER SATURDAY SWEEP

BENTONVILLE, Ark. – The 13th-ranked UAM softball team (15-1) has now won 10 consecutive games thanks to a 4-3 win over Missouri Western and a six-inning, 9-0 win over Lincoln on the second day of the Quad State Classic.

Junior Kayla Jackson (8-0) earned the win against MWSU (7-3), while junior teammate Amanda Nordberg (2-1) tossed a complete-game, one-hit shutout in the win over Lincoln (2-2), her first shutout of the season and fifth of her career. UAM wraps up its participation in the classic on Sunday (2/27) against Missouri-St. Louis at 12:30 p.m.
