MEMPHIS – The UAM volleyball team finished the 2011 CBU Invitational today with a pair of losses.

In match one West Alabama went three-straight games, 25-11, 25-15, and 25-23.

The match with Bellarmine featured closer games, but with the same 3-0 ending. The Cotton Blossoms fell 25-15 in game one, but showed better in games two and three. The Knights edged UAM 25-23 in the second game before taking the third and the match 25-20.

UAM has one more road game before coming home to Steelman Field House. They will travel up the road to take on UA-Pine Bluff after the Labor Day Holiday on Tuesday. Game time is set for 6:00 P.M. at UAPB.
