MONTICELLO – The University of Arkansas at Monticello volleyball team concluded its participation in the Hampton Inn Invitational with a 3-0loss to Kentucky Wesleyan on Saturday inside Steelman Field House. Final game scores were 25-19, 25-17 and 25-15.

The Blossoms (4-5) struggled from the start and posted 10 attack errors in each set in Saturday's loss. The team ended the match hitting right at zero with 30 kills and 30 errors on 106 attempts. The Lady Panthers (5-2) countered with a .217 team hitting percentage with 32 kills and 12 errors on 92 attempts.

Junior Jessica Cuba and senior Tori Bozzo led UAM with seven kills each. Senior Tusalava Kuaea paced the UAM defense with a season-high 18 digs.

Dallas Zimmerman led KWC with eight kills.

The Blossoms are back in action on Tuesday, September 17 on the road to face Arkansas Tech in the first Great American Conference match of the 2013 season. First serve is set for 6 p.m. at Tucker Coliseum in Russellville.
