LAWTON, Oklahoma – The University of Arkansas at Monticello volleyball team concluded a four-game road stretch with a four-set non-conference loss on the road to Cameron on Saturday evening.
Final game scores were 13-25, 25-17, 22-25 and 22-25. UAM falls to 8-8, while Cameron improves to 8-7.
Junior Sydni Schulz led the Blossoms with a career-high 16 kills, and added 11 digs for her third double-double of the season. Senior Tasha Evans also reached double-digits in kills with 10, while adding a total of eight blocks in the loss.
As a team, UAM hit .161 with 49 kills and 24 errors on 155 swings. Cameron countered with a .189 percentage with 52 kills and 25 errors on 143 swings.
Rebecca Green led Cameron with 13 kills. Kendra Adams and Kat Evans added 12 kills each.
The Blossoms are back in action on Tuesday, October 7 at home against Arkansas Tech. First serve is set for 6 p.m. at Steelman Field House.
