Searcy, Ark. - The University of Arkansas at Monticello volleyball team was defeated by the Bisons of Harding University Thursday evening, by a final score of 3-0 on the road.

• Final set scores from the match were 9-25, 15-25, and 15-25 in favor of the Bisons. 
• UAM's record goes to 5-8 (0-3 GAC) this season.
• Harding improves to 13-2 (2-1 GAC) on the year. 
   

• HU got off to a hot start as the Bisons led the Blossoms 12-2 early on in the opening set. 
• Arkansas-Monticello could not rally back unfortunately, with Harding winning set number one, 25-9.

  

• UAM was able to take an early lead to begin the second set after a service ace from Macy Mitchell, and a kill by Aubrey Harrison.
• The Bisons continued to generate small runs throughout the set and ultimately took the set 25-15 after creating separation from UAM.
   

• Harding once again was able to claim an early lead in the set, 11-4, and continued to hold that lead for the remainder of the set, winning it 25-15, and taking the match 3-0. 
  
   

• Aubrey Harrison led the Blossoms in total kills with seven overall, and finished the match-up with a .438 hitting percentage as well.
• Toryn Cox tallied 19 assists in the contest, and recorded nine digs to lead UAM in both stat categories. 
• Maggie Pyles added five kills and two service aces also. 

• UAM will next host non-conference opponent Arkansas-Fort Smith this Saturday, September 23 in Monticello, Arkansas inside Steelman Field House with first serve scheduled for 2:00 p.m.
