Blossoms Come Up Short in the 4th

    FIRST HALF
     
  • The Blossoms came out quick in the first period and went on a 10-3 run in the first 3 minutes of the game.
  • Chari Swift scoring 11 points for the Blossoms in the first half.
  • Blossoms put up 24 points from the paint in the half this afternoon to Delta State's 12.
  • UAM went into the locker room at halftime up 32 - 25.
 
 
SECOND HALF
 
  • Delta State grabbed 11 points off of turnovers from the Blossoms in the second half.
  • Blossoms were 10 for 23 from the field in the second half.
  • Statesmen outscored the Blossoms 22-14 in the fourth quarter and had a 14-6 run midway through the fourth quarter.
  • MacKenzie Johnson led the Blossoms this afternoon with 21 points and 5 rebounds. Johnson went 9 for 11 from the field and was 3 for 3 from the free throw line.
