@UAMSOFTBALL WALKS OFF AGAINST NWOSU, DROPS GAME TWO

MONTICELLO — The University of Arkansas at Monticello softball team split the day with Northwestern Oklahoma State, winning game one 6-5, and losing game two 2-0.

  • 6th Inning :  Maranda Clendenin reached safely on a Ranger error to see another run cross the plate as well. 
  • 6th Inning : Freeman singled to left field to knock in Currey to cut the lead down to just 5-3. 
  • 6th Inning : Head singled through the right side of the field to see two more runs come home, and tie the game up at 5-5. 
  • 8th Inning : Cailyn Bolick drove a ball to shortstop which could not be handled and the winning run was able to cross the plate for the 6-5 UAM extra inning victory.
