BETHANY, Okla. — The University of Arkansas at Monticello baseball team defeated Southern Nazarene on the road Friday afternoon by a final score of 18-12.

  • 1st Inning: Dodd got the Weevils on the board with a two-run blast in the top of the first inning.  
  • 3rd Inning: Ray grounded out to second base which saw one run cross the plate to tie up the game.  
  • 4th Inning: Drake Rowton put UAM out in front with a double to left center for the 5-4 lead. 
  • 5th Inning: UAM tacked on another run after a SNU error with the Crimson Storm leading 8-5. 
  • 8th Inning: Brian Ray crossed the plate on a wild pitch to being the Weevils' comeback. 
  • 8th Inning: Dylan Borman was hit by a pitch with the bases loaded, cutting the lead down to 12-7.
  • 8th Inning: Rios crushed a grand slam home run to put UAM just down 12-11. 
  • 9th Inning: Ray tied up the game at 12-12 with a solo shot home run to start off the top of the 9th inning. 
  • 9th Inning: Wagner gave UAM the lead with a home run of his own for the 13-12 advantage. 
  • 9th Inning: A fielding error then allowed two Weevils to cross the plate to extend the lead out to 15-12.
  • 9th Inning: Rowton recorded his second RBI double to left field to knock in one run. 
  • 9th Inning: Austin Brakebill doubled to center field to score Rowton to put the lead at 17-12. 
  • 9th Inning: Garrett Dodd capped the scoring off with a single to left field to see UAM take the game at 18-12.
