BARTLESVILLE, Okla. — The University of Arkansas at Monticello men's basketball team fell in the GAC Championship game against Southern Nazarene Sunday afternoon, 62-57. 
 

• UAM finishes the year at 19-12 overall. 
• SNU improves to 27-2 this season. 
  
   

• Derylton Hill —  20 points, 8 rebounds
• Cobe Goosby — 13 points, 4 assists
• Keelin Jackson — 9 points, 8 rebounds
   

• This Great American Conference title match-up featured both of these squads battling for any advantage early on, with the Weevils gaining the 16-14 lead with just under eight minutes to play. 
• Arkansas-Monticello continued to control the pace of the opening half, holding a 28-26 lead over the Crimson Storm heading into halftime. 
• Hill led the way in this first half with 11 total points, five rebounds, and two blocks to anchor UAM on both sides of the ball. 
   

• The second half of this contest brought more of the same from the first, as each squad traded leads throughout the second period of this game. 
• UAM caught fire however with just under eight minutes remaining, surging ahead to an eight point lead at 49-41 over SNU.
• Southern Nazarene generated its' final comeback in this match-up, jumping ahead of the Weevils with 03:17 left to play, and the number one overall seed sealed the game off at 62-57. 
• Arkansas-Monticello finished the half shooting 37 percent from the floor, compared to that of SNU who shot 57 percent overall in the second half.
