MONTICELLO — The University of Arkansas at Monticello baseball team took down the Bisons of Harding Friday afternoon at Weevils Field, 7-3. 

• Final Score:  #23 UAM 7 - HU 3
• UAM jumps to 29-12 (22-6 GAC) on the season.
• HU falls to 23-21 (13-15 GAC) overall.

• Drake Rowton  —  3-for-4,  2 doubles, 1 run
• Brady Weiss  —  2-for-4,  2 runs

• 1st Inning:  Rios gave UAM the 2-1 lead after a double to right center knocked in two runs.
• 3rd Inning:  Andres doubled once again driving in two runs to push the home advantage out to 4-1. 
• 4th Inning:  Brakebill singled up the middle to see Rowton cross the plate for the 5-1 lead. 
• 8th Inning:  Johnson drove a sac fly to center field which brought home Wagner for the 6-2 advantage. 
• 8th Inning:  Dylan Borman hit a sacrifice fly out to right field to see Rios come home and the Weevils would take game one of this series 7-3 by the final out. 
   

• UAM is back in action tomorrow, Saturday, April 21, as the Weevils wrap up the series with Harding in Monticello with a double-header set for 12:00 p.m.
