ARKADELPHIA, Ark. — The University of Arkansas at Monticello baseball team took down Ouachita Baptist in extra innings Saturday afternoon by a final score of 15-10.

  • UAM jumps to 24-9 (18-4 GAC) on the year. 
  • OBU drops to 10-26 (6-16 GAC) overall.

  • 1st Inning:  Wagner grounded out to third to see Weiss come home for the early 1-0 lead.
  • 1st Inning:  Rios singled through the left side to knock in Ray to push the lead out to 2-0. 
  • 4th Inning:  Rowton hit a sac fly out to right field to break the tie at 3-2 overall. 
  • 8th Inning: Wagner doubled to right center field to begin fueling the UAM comeback, down 7-4.
  • 8th Inning: Rios doubled to right as well to score Wagner, putting the score at 7-5. 
  • 8th Inning:  Jordan Johnson followed up with a double to knock in Rios.
  • 8th Inning: Borman flied out to center field to bring in Johnson to tie the game at 7-7. 
  • 8th Inning: Weiss then broke the tie with a two-run home run to right field, leading 9-7.
  • 9th Inning: Wagner homered to left center to push the Weevil advantage out to 10-7. 
  • 11th Inning: Rios gave UAM the lead in extra innings with a double to left center to see a run score. 
  • 11th Inning: Rowton singled to right center to push the Weevil advantage to 12-10.
  • 11th Inning: Weiss singled to left field to drive in a run, extending the lead to 13-10.
  • 11th Inning: Dodd was hit by a pitch with the bases loaded to see a run come home to push the lead to 14-10.
  • 11th Inning: Brian Ray then walked to see Shepherd cross the plate as the Weevils went on to take the game at 15-10.

  • Arkansas-Monticello will face Ouachita Baptist tomorrow, Sunday, April 8 in a double-header on the road in Arkadelphia, with game one slated for 12:30 p.m.
